Joining the Taps Family:-
In order to be considered for acceptance into our Family, you must meet to below, base minimum requirements for acceptance. Please understand that these are only very minimal standards that allow us to sort through a pool of literally hundreds of applications. Once accepted, current TAPS Family members must meeting other criteria for ongoing favorable status. Here are the minimum requirements to get you started at the beginning of the process:
- Your paranormal organization in which you are applying for must have at least 1 (one) year of verifiable service time.
- The Founder of your group must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
- You must have a web presence (site) and it must be up to date, well maintained and not on a free server.
- You must provide at least 2 references from your local community. Preferably email contacts from former clients.
- You must offer all investigative services free of charge. You may accept donations but you must not openly "ask" for them.
Other important notations regarding acceptance.
- You cannot reapply to us for 12 months following a rejection. We will ignore further attempts within that time frame.
- Only TAPS and TAPS Family management can approve you for membership. Please do not solicit current TAPS Family members for membership. It will not help.
- Please do not apply with emails. We will only accept applications from candidates using our online application form. So please do not send additional correspondence to us further promoting your group. They will be ignored and it will not be favorable for your group after doing so.
- Being a fan of the Ghost Hunters television show is not a qualification or plus. While we certainly appreciate your viewer ship and loyalty, please note that we are looking for groups that are interested in assisting others with the paranormal and not people looking to meet the cast of Ghost Hunters.
